Thank you for stopping by the Scott Carver Bucket List GoFundMe page!!! We welcome you and hope that you will consider donating to this campaign!

For those who know Scott, you know this is the most hilarious, down-to-earth, kind and loving man you could ever have the pleasure of sharing time with. For those who don't, please read on. As comments are collected, I'm sure you'll get the idea.

As many know, Scott began having seizures a year or so ago; that has made maintaining his landscaping business a little more daunting. But for the love of his family and his immense sense of responsibility, Scott has continued to be a strong working force. As a matter of fact, Scott and Celia, his wife, JUST purchased a new home!!! Such an exciting time! A new life and new experiences, new goals and new plans!!! Live here for 20-years, then sell it and retire to Hawaii! Celia, Coral and Chloe (the girls) loved that idea! So much hope and happiness! So much potential!

On Thursday, June 11th, as they were moving boxes into their new home, Scott experienced another seizure, which sent him once again to the ER. That evening, Scott was diagnosed with a brain tumor. On Friday, June 12th, Scott, Celia and their daughters were told that Scott's cancer is inoperable,  and he has limited time to spend with his beloved family and friends.  We will find out more on Tuesday, including whether or not radiation might help the quality of life and a more specific idea as to the quantity.  The doctor has speculated, further tests will cooborate.

Immediately after hearing the news, Scott began planning a bucket list! He is intent on spending the time he has left creating memories that will usher his wife and daughters peacefully through the impending transitions and throughout their lives: Family time, vacations, and the ability to spend his few remaining months with his family and friends, without adding further to the burden on Celia's shoulders.

Friends & Family,
We spent the day with Scott, Celia and the girls yesterday (June 12th), watching Celia as she tried to be the same kind of superhero Scott has been for her, watching the girls trying to smile only to go back to their rooms and cry, watching Scott as he one moment pondered and reached for acceptance and the next, telling Celia and the girls that they would make these final months count!

I know that this diagnosis may be shocking to some of you, let's be honest, it's shocking to all of us - especially to Scott, Celia and the girls. A new home (we are literally moving them in right now), an old home that still needs to be sold, teenaged girls, Scott's business to close out (despite open contracts), day-to-day responsibilities and pressures, medical bills and now, this diagnosis.

Right now, it's time to get this bucket list started!!! Celia - a school teacher - and the girls are on summer break. But more importantly, Scott's motor skills are beginning to get "WONKY", severely wonky.

We need to do this now!

The urgency is there.

Please contribute to Scott Carver's Bucket List Fund! As you do, please leave a comment, share a moment or story about Scott, let this be the uplifting campaign it is meant to be!

But please give.

Scotty, Jesse, Patty, Torrey and Tracy
