Private Writing Space

I've been a writer for over two decades but I'm also first and foremost a Mother and Wife. I love my family however my creativity, my passion for writing fulfills me just as much. Our home is not very large and has no space for an office. I can't even turn a closet into an office because of lack of space. 
For this reason, I've tried my mind at getting creative to make a way to have an office some other way. I can't leave my house to go write because my family needs me but I can have a seperate writing nook and still be available for my children. 
I don't mind buying a fixer-upper and have found many just like this picture that just needs some TLC. This would fulfill my dreams and keep me near to those dearest to me. It took 3 years however to get that one done due to no room to write. (I even tried hiding in the bathroom. LOL)
