Asking for help is not easy for us and asking in such a public way is especially hard bur we feel the time has come for us to humble ourselves, put our pride aside and ask for the help we desperatly need.
As many of you know we have been out of fuel for a while now. This combined with the slower time of the year has brought us to the point of putting the business up for sale if we can't raise enough money to purchase a load of fuel. With what little personal money we did have and with the help of friends and family we have been able to stay open but that can't and won't last much longer.
Stephen, Payton and I have worked so hard to make the store a welcoming place for not just the local people, who we have grown to love, but also the campers, hunters, hikers, cyclist, and motorcyclist that have become great, loyal customers. If we were to sell the store, we can't help but feel that the new owners would not love Suches, the people nor the way of life here as we do. Most likely new owners would not have the longtime family ties to the area like our family does. This store has become so much more than a job for us. It is home and we are praying that with your financial support that we will be able to stay and continue to do what we love doing.
Any amount that you are able to give will be greatly appreciated. We know that many people are having financial hardships of thier own and not able to give at this time and we completely understand and ask that you would keep us and the store in your prayers.
