Students Helping Students Scholarship Fund is dedicated to helping individuals in financial need through a scholarship program. The Scholarship Foundation will assist in utilizing a collaborative network of community and educational partners that are dedicated to Bethune-Cookman University and ensuring that its students are prepared for postsecondary education and supported as they matriculate in their studies and earn their degrees.
Our goal is to help deserving individuals attending Bethune-Cookman University continue their education. Our goal is to ensure that our Wildcat Scholars will not be deprived of higher education and educational tools because of funds.
The concept is to donate a minimum of 10.00 to the GOFUNDME account and tag 10 people and challenge them to donate. Those individuals have 24hours to donate their minimum of 10.00 and tag 10 other people (creating a domino effect). If the individuals fail to do so in the 24hr window, they must pay a fine of 20.00. While it is only required to donate the minimum we highly encourage higher donations so that we can reach our goal. This challenge will continue up until homecoming where a check will be presented officially to the university.
In order to have the check presented at homecoming during half time we must have a minimum donation of 10,000. I Neferteri Banks am challenging our alumni
especially the YOUNG ALUMNI TO SHOW UP AND SHOW OUT!! I understand we all have hectic schedules and obligations that may hinder us from attending every alumni meeting or being as active as we should. This scholarship is meeting us where we are and providing an easy way to contribute. This is our opportunity to show our support to our institution by lending a hand back. This Scholarship is fully supported by Bethune-Cookman University and all funds will be directly distributed to the institution from GOFUNDME.
