Good Giving Saturday - Bahrain

Good Giving Saturday is a group of like minded people from all over the world, located in Bahrain, dedicated to committing small acts of kindness on the last Saturday of each month and at whatever other time we find a chance to do so.
On the last Saturday of the month we provide 1000 snack bags to local labor sites. The bags consist of juice boxes, a salty snack (chips, nuts etc), a sweet snack (cookies, cupcakes, muffins, biscuits etc) and a pack of gum or some hard candies. In the warmer months we also provide cool, fresh bottled water.
We operate completely on donations and volunteerism and welcome donations of any kind item that we can put in our snack bags or provide to the needy in any way. Please feel free to leave a message if you have any questions or would like to donate goods or time. We can always use both!
Consider joining us on the last Saturday of the month to help distribute the bags or the last Wednesday of the month to pack them. It is a humbling and moving experience. We encourage you to get your children involved as well - there is always something that they can do to help. :)
