Dylan is a 10 year old little boy that was born with a congenital heart disease called hypoplastic left heart syndrome (his left ventricle was underdeveloped and doesn't function). He underwent the Norwood out of state followed by the Glenn and the Fontan procedures. This is a temporary fix for Dylan's blood flow to his heart. facing a potential transplant in the near future.
Since birth Dylan has been through many operations, had two strokes, developed rheumatoid arthritis (adult type), interstitial lung disease, central sleep apnea, pulmonary hypertension and now has liver involvement.
Dylan has been hospitalized 9 times since May 2016 with the longest stay lasting 28 days.
It is our hope that we all can come together to assist his family with current medical bills and related expenses.
