MC Wickett Cricket is a legend in Houston who arrived in the  Seventies  and became a pioneering artist and promoter in the city .Wickett Crikett's passion for community development has positioned him as leader in our Houston urban community.  His volunteer work for former mayor Bill white assisted in bringing in a new demographic to the voting polls. His 30 year membership of the Black heritage society has gained the organizations hundreds of new members and amplified exposure.  Wickett has also lead campaigns raising funds for Hisd schools various program needs.
The impact Wickett Crickett has made in  Houston community & music industry is second to none.  
Recently wickett has had a tougher time than usual in organizing /participating in these community projects that are geared  to bridge the gap between  Houston's talent & the need in the community for positive role models .  Due to  recent medical  conditions and the prognosis of colon cancer that will require surgery and substantial medical bills that continue to grow ; We are seeking help from the city Wickett Crickett has devoted his life to insuring our talent has a respected platform
