I have been selected to be one of the fortunate few to be a delegate in the United States 8th annual International Young Learders Assembly. This assembly will take place in Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, PA, and New York City, NY. I have been chosen to attend all venues. This assemply gives like minded leaders from around the world the opportunity to participate in workshops where we can share our experinces as leaders, and learn from international leaders from around the world.
Like most things in life, participating in this assemply costs money. I have been awarded a scholarship to offset the cost of attending the assembly, but a balance still remains. A balance I cannot afford.
Being raised by a single mother whom struggles to pay the bills every month, paying for me to attend this assembly out of pocket is not an option.
