Help Rob See His family Again!
Hi there, people of gofundme. My name is Rob. I currently reside in Logan, Utah, and I would very much like to see my family back in New Jersey and New York again.
I'll begin with the short version, for those of you without much time on your hands. I lived in NJ with my family for twenty-four years, until a job opportunity brought me to Florida. I moved down south, stayed for about a year, and then got a better opportunity from my brother in Utah. An opportunity to see my family again has arisen, and I really would like to spend a week with them, as it's been quite some time since I've gotten the chance. With my car payments, insurance, food, rent, and other expenses, this trip would be a pretty big hit to my wallet.
That's why I'm asking for funds today; $500 is the maximum I would need to be able to go home and see everyone, while at the same time, not putting a hole in my wallet. Thanks for reading, and if you feel you can spare a little to help a homesick soul see his family again, please do.
The long version is basically just the above, but with some more details. I've never been a wealthy person, and while my current job as Comcast tech support keeps me fed and sheltered, it doesn't leave a whole lot of room for extra.
On top of my lack of a huge savings, the chance to see my extended family all in one place, at one time, only comes once a year. Some of them are getting up in the years, and I'm afraid this might be one of the last times I'll be able to see some of them. I wouldn't even be doing this if that were not the case. I lost one grandmother to old age, and it still kills me that I wasn't able to see her for several years prior to her death. I don't want that to happen again.
If you can find the extra cash that you won't miss, I'd be eternally grateful if you could kick some my way. Every little bit helps. Thank you.
