War Memorial Post 30 Furnace Fund

Donation protected
War Memorial Post 30, American Legion in Camden Maine, serves a two county area with a Veteran population of over 3,700 men and women who have served our great State and Country in its many Wars and conflicts.

This fund has been set up to be able to continue to serve these Veterans especially during the winter months.  The post is currently heated through the use of a furnace that is over 40 years old and is not feasible to keep the building adequately heated in the winter months.
We are seeking monetary donations to purchase and have installed a new furnace.

The new unit must adequately be able to heat our 4000 square foot building. We have received estimates for the installation of a new unit between $6,500.00 and $14,000.00.  Our choice for a new unit falls in the $12,000.00 range and includes the need for a new chimney which is not up to state code in its present condition.

The hope is that funds can be raised so that a new unit and chimney can be in place before the end of November so the Legion Post can continue to serve its Veteran demographic.

Any support which is received is greatly appreciated as it is our Posts' goal to be able to serve any Veterans in a comfortable manner.  We are grateful to be able to continue to serve Military Veterans of all eras and with your help we will be able to better serve them!
