In Memory of Malik
Donation protected
Recently in Urbana, IL, a 3-month old pit bull puppy named Malik was locked in a 300 degree oven and left to die. This is not a picture of Malik, but is shown so you can see the face of a pit bull puppy about this age. How can this happen? To me,and any animal lover, this is not fathomable! Will you help me keep Malik's memory alive? Champaign County Humane Society will soon be dedicating the Queenie Mills Memorial Wall. This wall will display plaques given in memory of pets who have passed - many, such as Malik, too soon! The cost for a large engraved plaque on the wall is $750. I believe Malik deserves this memorial - don't you? Will you help me raise this money? If you do not know me, I have been a member of the Champaign County Humane Society Board of Directors for seven years and am an active volunteer at the shelter - so you know my heart is in the right place. Any funds over and above the $750 will be donated directly to CCHS. Please help me keep Malik's memory alive!
