Farrah Update "“
It has come to my attention that The Farrah Soudani Support Trust set up by Farrah's "Family", i.e. cousin and brother, Co-Trustees to The Farrah Soudani Support Trust, has decided to NOT FUND the Trust with the donations received, but to instead REFUND donations made through PayPal for The Farrah Soudani Support Trust, through the www.farrahsoudani.com
website. Farrah will only be given a mere $560 of the $95,000 claimed to have been raised for Farrah's continued health care.
This story was published recently in the Washington Post, where Co-Trustee, Jordan Soudani, claims that the Trust has $85,000 in donations. Here's the link: http://www.washingtonpost.com/national/health-science/aurora-colo-shooting-victims-face-challenges-beyond-their-injuries/2012/08/12/9947cc04-dfbd-11e1-a19c-fcfa365396c8_story.html
In this Denver Post article, they claim to have raised $70,000.
Finally, here, in this August 18, 2012 article, Co-Trustee, Jordan Soudani, claims to have raised $95,000 -
Recently, Farrah requested, via email, from Co-Trustees, Marty Soudani and Jordan Soudani, some things that she, as the sole beneficiary of The Farrah Soudani Support Trust, is entitled by law to receive, upon request. To date, Farrah has not yet received this information "“
Colorado Statute - 15-16-101. Duty to register trusts "“
(1) Subject to the provisions of section 15-10-108 and to subsections (2), (3), and (4) of this section, the trustee of a trust having its principal place of administration in this state shall, within thirty days after his acceptance of the trust, register the trust in the court of this state at the principal place of administration.
Colorado Statute - 15-16-104. Effect of failure to register
A trustee who fails to register a trust in a proper place, for purposes of any proceedings initiated by a beneficiary of the trust prior to registration, is subject to the personal jurisdiction of any court in which the trust could have been registered and otherwise as provided by the Colorado rules of civil procedure. In addition, any trustee who, within thirty days after receipt of a written demand by a settlor or beneficiary of the trust, fails to register a trust as required is subject to removal and denial of compensation or to surcharge as the court may direct.
Colorado Statute - 15-16-303. Duty to inform and account to beneficiaries
(4) Upon reasonable request, a beneficiary is entitled to a statement of the accounts of the trust
Today, I was notified by Co-Trustee, Marty Soudani, via email, through Farrah, that, ""¦The only money transferred into the trust acct that I a liable for is $ 560.00 which I will provide in about a week since I am super busy at work now. The remainder of the money has been returned prior to being put into the acct"¦".
What happened to the concerned, "family", raising money for Farrah? The timing of this act is significant. It was only after The Farrah Soudani SNT was released, by me; clearly, concisely, honestly, and transparently, to the public, that now the Co-Trustees of secondary Trust, have revealed their blatant misrepresention of themselves to the public, the media, their donors, and Farrah Soudani.
As you all may know, I set up an Irrevocable Special Needs Trust for Farrah, and funded it with an initial deposit over $150,000, primarily from funds raised through this site; some monies came in by check and cash. We will continue to accept donations on this site for Farrah's benefit. You can be certain that all money donated through this site will be placed in to the Trust that I formed for Farrah.

If your received a refund from your PayPal donation, and you still wish to offer that donation to Farrah where it will be placed in the Farrah Soudani SNT, you may do so at this website, or by check to:

The "Family Trust" Co-Trustees', returning of the donations for Farrah are in effect blocking, out of spite, the outpouring of love from the community to this wonderful girl.
Farrah is sick, beyond belief, at the betrayal of her brother and cousin. This travesty, on top of such a horrific tragedy, further complicates her recovery process. Please continue sending Farrah your thoughts, prayers, and healing, loving light.
