Hello Everyone,
Please read My Story and help me reach my goal that will help me attain a place on the United States FootGolf Team. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity for me, I am so excited to share My Story with you.
My goal my entire life was to be a professional soccer player. I played at the highest Club Levels throughout the United States and NCAA Division 1 Soccer for St. Peters University . I am Husband and a Father of 3 wonderful children (two boys and one girl), I am very involved in my community, as well as Referee Soccer Clubs and coach my oldest's Son's Soccer Team. While I never had the opportunity to play soccer professionally, FootGolf now offers me the second chance at that dream.
Last summer, when my Father in Law showed me an article about FootGolf - which combined my two favorite sports - I was immediately interested. At the time I was working a full time job and the weekends were spent with my family. I made it out to play at Crystal Springs in the Fall of 2014 and fell in love with the sport. I decided to start participating in more Tournaments.
Winning the NJFGA Crystal Springs tournament this past April 2015 proved that I could compete at a very high level. So far, I have participated in the first two AFGL US Pro AM Tournaments. Ultimately, my goal was to place in the Top 3 American spots to secure my place on the US Team. I competed against the best players in the world and while my scores did not place me in the Top 3 (Top 5 though!), it proved that I can compete at the World's highest level.
My next goal is to play the next two Tournaments on the West Coast to earn my spot on the US Team and play in the World Cup in Argentina in January 2016. There is no greater honor and meaning to me than to represent the USA playing one of the most amazing new sports that has become my life.
I have an amazing family who is 100% supportive of me and so excited for the possibility of my making the US Team. We will be going out to the West Coast all together as a family. The Fund will help me with training, Tournment and Travel Expenses. We will be traveling together throughout the West Coast leg August 4-18.
I am seeking donations as well as Sponsorships to help me achieve my dream. I am happy to have your business advertised throughout my West Coast Tournaments on my shirt and thoughout any media.
