Remembering Jenifer Jones Wood…
Jenifer Wood, devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, coach and friend passed away peacefully and unexpectedly in her home on Wednesday May 16, 2018.
It’s not every day you are blessed to know someone as amazing as Jenifer. She was a mentor, example and inspiration to many, continuously devoting of her time and talents to serve others. She was currently employed at Neil Armstrong Academy where she worked as a behavior specialist and playground aide.
Jenifer served in many capacities including coaching the school’s jump rope team where she was loved by all. The day after her passing would be the year end jump rope program which she eagerly anticipated. Her students carried on in her honor, including her own son, James, who we know made his mom very proud. Jenifer was the biggest supporter of her children and everything she did was for them and her family. We are heartbroken for the Wood family and express our love to them. Jenifer will be sorely missed and her loss felt deeply throughout the community.
We have established this GoFundMe page to raise money for the Wood Family and to lighten the financial burden of funeral expenses as well as ongoing expenses the family may face. All funds will be given directly to Jen’s loving husband, Jeff and their four sons.
