Molly's Van Repair

NEED TO RAISE $7000.00!!! ASAP!!!
Hi everyone! My name is Miss Molly (aka Babydog) and I have Angelman Syndrome
(for more info, http://ghr.nlm.nih.gov/condition/angelman-syndrome. ) That makes things harder for me is one on a list of many, my mom and dad have to speak for me. Not only am I nonverbal, but I'm told I have severe cognitive issues (I don't believe them) along with a host of other problems, so my parents have to figure out what I want/need. That's tough some times but in true Angelman fashion I can smile at everyone.
Currently, my dad (aka Basset/John Wagner) is interpreting for me and is in charge of this GoFundMe fundraiser. To be blunt, we need money. Seven thousand bucks to be precise! For transportation, we have a 15 year old Windstar. Yeah, that's the problem, 15 years old. It is, however, the ONLY thing we can all pile in (wheelchair included) to get to my appointments/therapies as well as my dad (he's kinda messed up right now too, lymphedema, pulmonary embolism, congestive heart failure etc... An unemployable mess.). My mom is in great shape (comparatively), this means she has to drive. All the time. Makes it convienent that she's been unemployed since October 2014 for our needs(silver lining)!
But, I/we digress, we need $7,000.00 to repair everything broken on the van. So, if you can find it within your heart to donate your spare nickles and dimes, we would really appreciate it more than the stars in the sky. My dad is tired of having to cancel our appointments, therapies and excursions simply because the van doesn't work (I think what really bugs him , dad being a former Catepillar Mechanic w/specialization in engine rebuilding, transmissions and powertrains, that he can't do the repairs anymore).
But... we need the van most of all for our medical transportation (we've had to cancel waay too many appointments for us). No wheelchair mods, means my folks have to pry me up onto the passenger seat then stash the wheelchair in the back, then load my dad in the rear seat and... we're off!
It's not easy and not pretty, but it was working until the van reached its use-by date on most of the more expensive components.(Transmission, rack and pinion, plus other things) Sucky!
Other transportation options haven't been possible for us due to medical issues
So please, anything you can help with is greatly appreciated.
