Madeline Massingill is a local dancer, now in Dallas, Texas preparing for Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Training Camp. She has been an intern for me the past year. In that time I have watched her work very hard at her passion for dance. She has danced since she could walk. Those of you in the Dance community may be aware of her accomplishments, Maddie was elected Fremont's Homecoming Queen this year, she was top five at Miss Drill Utah, Maddie was a member of the Fremont High School Silverline, taking home the region 5A Championship. Though she loved being on the drill team, she still had other goals and dreams she was working on. One of those dreams was to tryout and make THE DALLAS COWBOY CHEERLEADERS. I have seen her work very hard. She bought her ticket and flew out to Texas the first of May to begin the first part of the Tryouts. Every day I would wait for the phone call from her letting me know her standings. Maddie made it through the freestyle dance tryout portion, the interview , the solos, not to mention toddling between 1st and 2nd place in the social media fan vote, securing the 2nd place out of all the canidates trying out. Maddie made it to Training Camp , she flew home, graduated, packed her bags and drove back to Dallas Texas to continue her dream at Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader Training Camp. Maddie worked hard all year saving money for the process, she got a car, rented a room and is preparing for the official tryouts which will be televised on CMT. Many of you have asked how they can help her, I thought I would set up this account for any of you whom wish to help her out until she gets established and on her feet. I think she can use all the help we can give her. Utah produces some outstanding dancers that head out and perform all over the world. Lets come together as a dance community and help Maddie get through the next couple of months!!
