My adoption story

Hi, my name is Tyler Dunn and asking for help is not something I'm comfortable with, but I know I can't do this alone. My mentor tells me, “If you don't ask, you don't receive.” Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you, ~Matthew‬ 7:17

I have two younger brothers who have lived with their dads since they were younger, Logan (15) and Jesse (13). Growing up, we've always pushed through dealing with unfortunate circumstances and the Lord has always been faithful and provided for us. Because of difficult situations, my brother Jesse has had to stay with me for the last three months and Logan will be moving in with me June 5. I am currently in the process of gaining guardianship of both of my little brothers through the court system.

In February, I was injured and had to have reconstruction knee surgery and was terminated from my job. During this time of trying to figure out how I was going to pay my bills and find another job I could perform, is when Jesse needed to come and stay with me. I searched and prayed for answers and God opened a door and I was offered and accepted a job at Crosspoint Christian School. I will be on staff at the school and be the defensive coordinator coach for the football team.

Here's the part where I need help. My goal is to enroll both of my brothers into the school I will be working at. Both Logan and Jesse play football and I know this environment is what they both need, to be daily surrounded by the word of God and on a football field learning life lessons and experiencing teamwork. Through God’s blessing of a job at the school, I will receive a 50% discount to enroll both boys, leaving $5,500 for both Logan and Jesse’s tuition. I am standing in faith and circling prayers over both Logan and Jesse’s lives. I believe in God’s plan for Logan and Jesse and I'll do whatever it takes to see them succeed and to know the Lord more and more each day. I ask that you join me in praying for Logan and Jesse to be world changers and ask for any support toward tuition that you can offer.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. To be honest, I'm not sure I'm ready to be a parent of two teens but I know Christ has a plan. I believe prayer is powerful and we are so thankful in advance for your gifts and prayers.

Proverbs 22:6

"Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it."
