Help to build a new school in India!
The Rampur School Project.

In the village of Beri, not far from Rampur, in the beautiful landscape of Himachal Pradesh a new project has started.
A school will be build in order to give education to children from the area of Himachal Pradesh, Kinnaur and Lahul and Spiti in the northern part of India.
Due to the great generosity of an elderly couple land was acquired to start the project, to benefit the children of the region. Their wish is to build a school project in order to help the next generation.

Since long time I am working together with Lama Choeny Dorje, the Principal of Ladakh Rigjung Public School. His experience, expertise and his continuous effort to support the children of the poor will be a great benefit for this new project.

I am regularly in contact with Lama Choeny Dorje who is now near Rampur in the village of Beri building a new house for the elderly couple. After that the construction for the school will start. I like to raise some funds to be able to help building up the school which will benefit many children of the region. For that I need your kind support.

A school with hostel and library is planned.

The aim of the Rampur Project is to give an education which preserves the surrounding cultures and combines modern and traditional ways of learning.
The project will benefit many of the local children, irrespective of their religious background, and help them to live a healthy life and build up a strong society.
In connection with the Buddhist tradition Tibetan language and Buddhist studies will be part of the study programme in future.
