Homes for Vets Pete and Charlie

Vietnam veteran, Charlie, was a victim of a house fire Saturday, May 23rd. Charlie and his girlfriend were out getting groceries when their home caught on fire. Upon return to their home, they found that they had lost everything. The only thing that was left standing in the house, was the American flag. Since the beginning of this campaign we have been able to clear the property of the materials and have prepared it for his new home to go in place.

Our second veteran, Pete, was living in some deplorable conditions. When we went in for an examination of his home, the roof was leaking, half of his home was without electricity, mold throughout the entire house, no appliances, and many more issues. We made the decision that it would be easier and cheaper to replace the home rather than repair it. We have removed the trailer from the land and prepared the land for the next home.

On behalf of Team Savannah for Veterans, we need you to help us raise money for Charlie and Pete. As Vietnam veterans, they were not welcomed back to the states very nicely. Let's stand up and show Pete and Charlie that America is different and welcome them to new homes.
