Omega West Dance Company, under the direction of Carla De Sola , has been invited to present Beyond Words: An Interfaith Ritual for Peace at the 2015 Parliament of World Religions in Salt Lake City.
In Beyond Words, dancers and religious leaders explore expressions of Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism, and Islam through chant, ritual gesture, and dance choreography. Following the performance, Sister Martha Ann Kirk and Enver Rahmanov will facilitate a discussion on the implications of the dance for peace and interfaith understanding.
It will cost about $10,000 for eight members of Omega West (Carla, Sr. Martha Ann, Enver, and five dancers) to attend the 2015 Parliament of World Religions.
Can you help us raise the first $2,000 to help offset the registration, travel, and lodging fees for Omega West to bring sacred dance to the 2015 Parliament of World Religions?
