Jade's Wheelchair Fund

Donation protected
Jade is my beautiful 13 year old daughter who has suffered with her joints since she began walking. She was diagnosed as Hypermobile in 2009 and underwent surgery in 2010 which has corrected things as much as they can. The rest has to be done by physiotherapy, PMA (Positive Mental Attitude) and picking battles wisely!

Jade got much worse when she started secondary school in 2013 and was diagnosed with Hypermobility Syndrome in Nov 2014.

On the 16th of March this year she had a simple stumble at school and injured her hip. She has been reliant on a borrowed wheelchair ever since. She is in pain on a daily basis and struggles to walk even small distances. She falls two or three times a day and is constantly exhausted from the pain and from her medication. On top of this she also suffers with IBS, bladder weakness and the added trials of being a teenager!

Earlier this year she was turned down for DLA so we have no funding to go towards her own Wheelchair that is suited to her needs. The one she is currently using needs to be returned to its owner soon and then she will be stuck! Any small amount you can help us with will help her to live her life again!
