That has been the story of our family and adoption. As a family of five, we stumbled into this crazy world several years ago while living in Houston. We were foster parents for one year, and then we adopted our three youngest boys in May 2013, making us a family of 8. While that might seem big, we have always felt we have room for more. Because once you see this world, it cannot be unseen.
So we've gone through training and have taken the steps to be declared "Open" for adoption again, this time in the state of Arkansas. We want to adopt another sibling group of 2 or 3 brothers (sorry, still no girls).
But, we need your help.
We currently have two modes of transportation: a pick up and a minivan. The minivan is maxed out with our family of 8, leaving no room for our new boys. And because it's not practical to take two cars everywhere we go, we want to purchase a used 15-passenger van.
Obviously, every donation helps. And everyone who donates $100 or more will receive a special key for you to keep as a reminder of our thankfulness.
Yes, we're going to be "that family" cruising around in a huge van. And every time we climb in we'll remember the generoisty of our friends and family who constantly help us move further down the road.
