Locals Covering Locals is now on its third leg. We have tracked 10 new artists, begun mixing, but are at a standstill until we can get a couple more bucks in the wallet and get this thing wrapped. And as with Volume 2 and in an effort to keep this music free and available for everyone 'a little help from our friends' is always appreciated! As there are no profits to be made from Red Line Roots and all funds go directly to the project, it can be difficult to find those funds without assistance.
Our dear friends at The Loar have again stepped in to help us in rewarding folks who support us. I cannot thank them enough and you should certainly check out all their instruments (in addition to donating for a chance to win their The Loar LM-375 F Style Mandolin )
As with the last round, for each $10 donation (1 chance) to the recording project you will be entered for a chance to take home a The Loar LM-375 mandolin with a The Loar featherlight case (valued at $550).
Each $10 donation will count as one chance (so $20 = 2, $40 = 4, etc.)
In addition to the chance at the mandolin, there will also be a few chances at taking home a Red Line Roots custom printed t-shirt as well. Any amount pledged will receive a special Locals Covering Locals volume called: Red Plays His Favorites.
The hope is to reach $1,000 with this fundraising effort...and as with last time, if we reach that mark a percentage will be donated to another charity as well.
***winner of the mandolin must be able to have guitar shipped to their address within the continental US
