Jabari's Sojurn to IlluxCon 2015

Hello! My name is Jabari Weathers, and I'm an illustrator  from and living in Baltimore who has a love for the mythic, fantastic and strange. In the past year since my graduation from MICA I've waded deeper into the world of illustration through personal projects and freelance work.

Still, being a recent graduate is tough, and for me this has been particularly true financially. While I'm able to scrape by between my work and my part time job, events like and including IlluxCon  have escaped me in the past, and valuable opportunities to meet my peers and my heroes face to face, learn new lessons and make new friends within the web of my discipline and the mythic arts as a whole. This is why I intend to make my way there this year, as I am convinced that the experience could be invaluable, but it's also right around the corner, with the event lasting from the 21st to the 25th of October in Allentown, Pennslyvania.

The costs being covered are for travel fees via bus from Baltimore, MD to Allentown, PA, lodging costs for the stay during the 5 day gathering of course the cost for attending the con itself. and any help that you can offer to help make this journey to Illuxcon a reality will be met with my greatest gratitude.
