Unit 41

Donation protected
The town of Creemore Ontario purchased the 1941 International Harvester Fire truck from the RCAF. Unit 41 was originally built for the RCAF during the Second World War. It served on airfields during the war, after the war it was stationed at 13X near Angus Ontario, until the base exploded. The base was closed and Creemore purchased the truck to be stationed in Creemore as their first motorized fire apparatus. It served the town until 1989, when it was retired. The fire fighters in Creemore took over care for the truck. The Creemore Fire Fighters are trying to refurbish the truck. They need money to fix the rest of the body work. We have both fenders, doors, Hood and floor, done to a primer, They just need money to fix the rest of the truck.
