Prayers for Baby Vylet

Donation protected

3 months ago I became friends with Gabby Wilmoth. We instantly became close as she prepared for Baby Vylet to be born. One day she expressed how nervous she was about the delivery and it was then she shared with me that Vylet had been diagnosed with Spinabifida. She kept an open mind and chose to love her baby no matter what life had in store for them. Baby Vylet was born on March 16th with Spinabifida and paralyzed vocal chords. She underwent her first surgery on March 17th for her spinal repair. Then because of her vocal chords being paralyzed, she needed to have a tracheotomy to open her airway on April 14th. The latest surgery was due to her spinal fluid being built up in her cranium and Baby Vylet had to get a shunt in to drain the fluid on May 12th. This poor baby girl has had 3 surgeries in 2 months and her future is very uncertain. She currently requires a trach to help her breathe and is eating via a feeding tube. To learn how to care for Vylet and ultimately get her home, Gabby has had to quit her full time job. Gabby visits the hospital every day to hold her baby girl and be as active in her daily care as she can be. Gabby’s fiancé, Joe, is working 2 jobs to help support their family while trying to see Vylet as much as he can. But that’s just not enough. They have other children too and they are having trouble making ends meet. The traveling back and forth to see Vylet and the medical bills are all adding up and everything is becoming so overwhelming. I want to help this sweet family and their baby girl. I would love for them to only worry about spending time with their Vylet instead of how to put food on the table. So I am asking for them, to help in any way that you can. Any little donation would be great. They have a long road ahead of them, so please consider helping this precious family and keeping them in your prayers.
