Go Build - Nepal





My name is Jane and I am married to Rishi from Lamjung in Nepal. 

 As we all know, following the massive quakes (2 major ones) and aftershocks daily, the Nepalese have suffered terribly, enduring loss of life and immense hardship . Millions have been affected and thousands of families are now homeless.  The heat is building and the country is approaching monsoon. Worse is still to come with landslides and flooding expected.  


Our aim here is to join hands with others who want to make a real difference and work together to build as many homes as we can  for those in desperate need in the villages. In particular those who are extremely poor, under-privilaged and generally ignored by the state. You may have heard of the term 'Dalit' also known as 'the untouchable' caste.  This will happen as soon as the tremors stop and  life starts to return to normality.

The photos we have put here show the temporary shelters that people have been forced to live  in.
