Christmas with the boys

4 boys, a family, a couple of pets, a job, friends... My life was textbook american dream.
Then Julian got sick, brain cancer at barely 4yo, what???
Julian had surgery, radiations to his brain and spine , chemotherapy , but despite a good prognosis , he relapsed and was eventually placed on hospice and passed away at home with his brothers, his grandparents and us by his side.
Julian's death created a gap. William was 2 and lost his playmate. Alex was 8 and Sam 10.
It took a toll on my mental health. I have struggled since Julian died.
We lost our home. It was the home we brought Julian and then William from the hospital.
We decided to move to Florida for a while in 2010. I got the best job ever at an OB/GYN office and loved every minute of it. This place won over my heart. But the boys, daddy included and minus William werent too thrilled and missed their home state of Texas. We moved back in 2012. in 2013 my Dad started showing neurological symptoms that were mistaken for a stroke. He was later diagnosed with his own brain cancer. Terminal brain tumor called Glioblastoma Multiforme .
I flew 3 times to France in 2014 to help with his care and was by his side when he died.
Living in Texas was a daily struggle for me and it took a toll on our mariage and my mental health. Between PTSD, anxiety and depression I ended up in out patient intensive therapy twice through 2014 for 6 weeks each.
I decided to move back to Florida where my heart is and where I can feel Julian all around me in the most beautiful ways. We decided the boys would stay in Texas with their dad for a while.
I am fortunate to have amazing friends here in Fort Myers who opened their home to me.
I got my job back. I love it all.
But it is now holiday time. William is having a hard time without his mama.
I am trying to go visit and once again need help... My time is limited. I have no vacations. So leaving on the 24th and coming back on the 27th makes for expensive tickets.
