Roxy's Vet Bills

We can tell you that Roxy's a perfect, unique little snowflake; that she taught us that dogs can smile, that she really likes the word "pizza" and "car" and "walk" and "brush" and tilts her head everytime she hears you say it, that she's the kind of cuddler that'll come up to you when she knows you're feeling down, that she's an excellent swimmer for such dinky little legs, that she constantly thinks she's the alpha around other (usually bigger) dogs and they know it.

Well, we are telling you, and she is all that and more, but we know she is our precious little corg, and most -if not all- of you reading this will never get the chance to experience her. But she's a sweet, stubborn lass and we love her very much. Sadly, she's slipping away from us as I write this.

She's in a critical stage of congestive heart failure, and currently being hospitalized. We're not of particular well means, and we've poured in practically all we've had saved in keeping her alive and comfortable. It's a touch-and-go situation, and they're doing their best to wean her off of oxygen to room air.

Currently, we are paying through credit, and it's been the only way we've been able to pay further, but we're slowly reaching the limit. And that's where your donations come in. If we can find a point that she's stabilized, she can live with us and get her belly rubs, chew her toys, and be our tiny watch dog for whatever time we have left with her. But we need that extra push.

Not being particular fans of hand-outs, we are more than willing to offer rewards for your generosity.
