My name is Scott Ferer. My Aunt and Uncle, Linda and Paul Cooper, lost everything they had in the tornado that went through Oklahoma City Wednesday night. My elderly aunt was trapped for hours under the pile of rubble that used to be their trailer, as well as the rubble from the next door neighbor's trailer that flew up and landed on her.
It was a fluke that she was even found at all. Thanks so much to Oklahoma Natural Gas worker Cory Scalff, for finding my Aunt Linda. He was making sure gas meters were off in the "evacuated" area after the tornado hit, and that’s when he heard a faint cry for help from under a pile of rubble.
My Aunt has multiple health problems and this ordeal has only added to a very trying situation. They lost absolutely everything they had including both of her hearing aids (she is over 70% deaf), and even her dentures, Any help you can provide will go directly to them to help them rebuild their lives.
