Friends of Joe and Nancy Galuski

Joe Galuski, our dad, is one very well known member of the Central New York community, having worked for WSYR radio providing news and information for over twenty-five years.  Back in September 2014, he was diagnosed with non hodgkins lymphoma, a disease he conquered twenty-two years prior.  Over the past eight months, he has endured seven rounds of chemotherapy and more tests and pokes and prods and blood transfusions than we can even keep track of.

Just a few weeks ago, he was told that his cancer is currently untreatable by conventional methods.  He presently is living at Francis House in Syracuse, NY, receiving kind and gentle care.  We have set up this page in response to the out pouring of love and support of our dad and mom.  The level of support has been overwhelming and we are all so very grateful.

After speaking with our mom about her (and my dad's) needs at the moment, we felt it best to open this fundraising campaign as a way to ease the financial burden of an immeasurable amount of medical bills that our parents have accumulated over the past eight months.  Through your generosity, this burden could be greatly reduced giving our parents the time and energy to focus on other things at this time.
