WTM'er for The Mission Continues

Hello,
My name is Jason Rulo. I am an the owner of three businesses and have been an avid obstacle course racer for six years now. In 2012 I decided to take on the World's Toughest Mudder (WTM). This 24 hour event is the most grueling race in our sport. My tremedous experience brought me back in 2013, and 2014. Last year I decided that I need to find a way to give back and use the awareness of my preparation and participation in this unbelievable event as a call to action for a great cause, and I planned to do the same for 2016.
Obstacle Course Racing (OCR) has it's origins in military training. Running and tackling obstacle courses are a way of life for militaries around the globe, so I figured what better group to benefit from my journey to the 2016 WTM than veterans who fought for the good old US of A. I have made this choice to give back out of the realization that what I can provide is the ability to build awareness. There is a cause started here in my hometown of St. Louis that allows veterans to continue to serve even after their time in active duty is complete. This charity is The Mission Continues.
The Mission Continues empowers veterans facing the challenge of adjusting to life at home to find new missions. They redeploy veterans in their communities, so that their shared legacy will be one of action and service.
As I prepare for the 2016 WTM, it is my goal to help people become more aware of The Mission and how they can profoundly help veteran's returning to civilian life. I have the ability to run my businesses , train for my races, and raise my daughter in part due to the blanket of freedom that our military provides. I ask you to join me in building awareness for this group through following me on Facebook, and other means of social media as I will be posting my progress.
Your MISSION, should you choose to accept it, is to provide whatever amount you can to help fund my cause. My goal is to raise a minimum of $12,000. Please consider being a part of this journey!
