Help Save my 1905 Home

Donation protected
20 years ago my husband Bob and i moved from Vermont to Texas. My husband had a good job working as a diffusion equipment engineer for Sematech in Austin. We both fell in love with this house and bought it and fixed it up with love. Our marriage was a happy one and we both enjoyed going to Renaissance festivals. 8 years ago- out of the blue Bob was diagnosed with stage 3 small cell lung cancer after being laid off from his job.  He died on June 15  2007at 3:30,one month shy of our 30th wedding anniversary.
I was left in debt but managed to pay it off by re-financing my home. I can make ends meet but I don't have much leftover. I am an artist and work as a performer at a Renaissance faire. Nothing I do generates much money.  I do doll repair, make jewelry and feed a colony of cats. I am 68 years old and on a fixed- I call it broke- income..The porch on my once beautiful Southern Colonial home is sagging and needs extensive work to save it. The wood is rotten from the rain over the years. I had some work done last year but that did not slow down the deterioration. I have found a local builder  who knows how to fix historical homes,to do the work- now I need the money.  The roof also needs work and the bees are back invading cracks in the porch.. Please save this once beautiful historical home? It breaks my hart to see it going down hill and not being able to do anything about it! I need all the help I can get!
