Incinerator for Rusk Co. Sherriff

Tax deductible
In the past ten years, deaths from prescription opiod overdoses have increased threefold. In fact, in 2012, drug overdose surpassed automobile accidents to become the leading cause of injury death in the United States.

This past September 27th was the final Prescription Drug Take Back event funded by the DEA . Prescription Drug disposal is a service to the community, and Local Law Enforcement are eager to continue holding regular events, but shipment and incineration of the controlled substances collected can be costly.

The East Texas Substance Abuse Coalition  is hoping that the Greater East Texas community will respond to this need by joining together to purchase a Drug Terminator, a portable, small-batch drug incinerator, for Rusk County Sherriff Price.  Law Enforcement incineration is the safest, most effective way for dangerous leftover drugs to be disposed of, without damaging the water supply (flushing pills down the toilet further endangers the community).

The parent organization of the coalition, Next Step Community Solutions is a 501 (c) 3 Texas incorporated non-profit organization and has been located in Tyler, Texas since our founding in 1984. Your donation is completely tax deductable and will go to fund the Incinerator Project entirely.

Please consider making a tax-deductable donation today; your gift will help us empower Law Enforcement to make East Texas a safer place for our children.

All funds raised in this campaign will go toward the incinerator; if we fall short of our goal, we will seek other funding to add to what we raise.
