Give Ryan a Christmas he deserves

Donation protected
Ryan Shaw is just a good dude.

There's really no simpler way to put it. When others are in need, he puts their needs before his. He works extremely hard to make ends meet and to make others' lives better, but karma hasn't been his friend lately.

As if getting ambushed and pepper-sprayed by a random driver with misplaced road rage the eve of Thanksgiving wasn't enough, he's being kicked again while he's down with Christmas just a week away. This time financially.

At the start of the month, Ryan's power was shut off. He had a security deposit held by his utility company, but they wouldn't put that toward his balance. To top things off, even after his landlord agreed to hold his check until he could get his power back on, he went to the bank to get some cash to buy his parents a few nice gifts for Christmas, only to find the check cashed and his account in the hole several hundred dollars.

I'm hoping to raise at least $700 to help dig Ryan out of the hole, get his lights turned back on, and have some left over to buy some presents for his beloved family. He was asking $700 to get rid of his last valuable possession, but no one should have to do that. Especially at Christmas.

100 percent of proceeds (minus any fees that are taken before the funds are deposited, naturally) will go to Ryan. Let's help him get back on his feet.
