Funding my bone marrow transplant

As many of you know, I am a family physician in Front Royal, VA. In March 2017, I was diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome (a cancer in the bone marrow). I have been actively practicing despite getting chemotherapy during this time. In the beginning of March 2018 [NOTE: Pushed back to April 2018 due to complications - read the blog for info], I will be receiving a bone marrow transplant (given by one of my children). I will receive intense chemotherapy and radiation before I get the transplant to prepare my body for the bone marrow transplant. Then on "DAY 0", I will receive the transplant and I will begin a recovery of 2-3 months IN BALTIMORE at Johns Hopkins Medical Center. Here is a link on bone marrow transplants.
You may have been following me on my blog (http://trippbradd.blogspot.com). I fully expect to return to full time practice after I have recovered in a few months from the bone marrow transplant. (Our office will remain open and Sarah and others will be there to see patients during this time.)
The total costs for the transplant could be a high as $800,000. Thank God, my health care insurance is going pick up a large portion of this cost.
The financial impact will be severe. I will not be able to see patients during this time that I will remain in Baltimore (for 2+ months). As a result, we will have no income. Jan, my wife and our nurse manager, will be there by my side taking care of me during this time and won't be able to work as well. Besides the non-covered cost of the transplant, I will continue to have housing, living and other expenses.
I am seeking your help and have set the goal of $60,000 dollars to help defray these significant costs. YOUR HELP in ANY AMOUNT will be so appreciated! Your prayers have continued to sustain my family and I during this trying time.
