Hope Together
Donation protected
Hope has been the thing that has carried us these past few years.
As you may already know, we have spent the last four years trying to grow our family. We have had eight pregnancy losses. We’ve had multiple tests, many ultrasounds, countless blood draws, three doses of chemotherapy, and one emergency surgery. There have been many mornings and late nights full of tears and frustration. It has been a difficult time full of uncertainty, loss, and grief. There has also been a measure of hope that we could never have expected.
We are now faced with the daunting and expensive medical procedure of IVF. Unfortunately, IVF is not covered by our insurance plans. Based upon Jeanne’s age and our history of repeated miscarriages and ectopic pregnancies, our doctor has recommended more in-depth treatment, including ICSI, frozen embryo transfers, and specialized testing. The doctor’s current estimate of our costs is $19,500 for one round of treatment. This cost could go up if we aren’t successful the first time.
In order to make IVF a real possibility for us, we decided to ask for help. We plan to start our first cycle in early January.
We hope that you will walk alongside us, that you will hope with us, and that you might show your support by donating! Sleeping at Last , one of our favorite bands, has offered to gift digital downloads of Atlas: Year One to donors who donate $50 or more to our campaign. The songs Sorrow and Saturn are two songs that have helped us both through our grief.
If you are interested, we are also selling t-shirts at bonfire.com/trentandjeanne . Our path to a family has been hard, and we’re not sure where it will ultimately lead, but we’d love you to be here with us.

Thank you for hoping with us and for all of your support!
