Tom and Weazy Support Fund

Ten years ago Tom and Weazy began their new life on the road as long haul, team truck drivers. What seemed like a crazy life to so many ended up being the best life they could ask for. They had the opportunity to travel the country and live a life of adventure. This lifestyle also allowed them to give and help others whenever they saw a need. However, this all changed on Thursday May 7, 2020 with a tragic accident in Jacksonville Florida. Unfortunately Weazy sustained fatal injuries, and Tom sustained multiple injuries including severe damage to his leg and knee. After two surgeries in Jacksonville, Tom was released to recover in Savannah GA. His recovery will entail 6 weeks of immobility and rest followed by months of therapy which will lead to having knee replacement surgery later this year.

The insurance policy that they carried on their truck did not include an injury option, so they are refusing to cover any of the expenses incurred with this accident. The donations made will help to cover the medical expenses for Tom as well as the funeral expenses for Weazy.
