Tokyo Trip to Create Visual Guide

こんいちは！My name is Hildred Billings, and I am a full time fiction author. Currently my lesbian romance series REN'AI RENSAI is a bestselling saga in its category in the US, Germany, Italy, and Japan! (And Singapore, if Kobo is not lying to me.) The series has a very dedicated fanbase that I am eternally grateful for. It would mean the WORLD to me to be able to give back to them in the form of a special REN'AI RENSAI visual guide that will highlight dozens of settings in the series, which primarily take place in Tokyo, Japan.
But, funds are limited. Royalties barely pay the bills, and Japan calls! My goal is to raise $3000 for a trip in October. Airline tickets are still cheap, and those are the BIGGEST hurdle! The sooner I can raise the first $1500 for airline tickets, the more likely this endeavor will happen! I have lived in Japan on over three separate occasions, and Tokyo is not foreign to me. I have a cheap hostel all lined up, and I am a spare eater and know where all the cheap food is anyway. Just get me the means to get there, and I'll be snapshotting away!
The current plan is to go for two, possibly three weeks, depending on airline tickets and how much money I am able to raise to cover food and shelter. Oh, and a birthday party. Did I mention my birthday is in October? I get to take the day off from picture taking to party a little, right? Trust me, there is no greater birthday present than living it up in Japan, my second home!
