Medal of Honor Trike Modification

Donation protected

Gary Wetzel received the Medal of Honor for his courage and bravery during the Vietnam War.  As a result of military service to the USA, Gary sustained many injuries, one of those injuries resulted in the loss of his left arm.   The many adaptations he has made to improve the quality of his life are countless, but one great passion he has, is riding his motorcycle.

Gary has been a  long time supporter of Rolling Thunder and Run for the Wall.  Gary has led Rolling Thunder for greater than 20 years.  2015 Leroy Petry, also a Medal of Honor Recipient, Afghanistan, rode side by side with Gary as they led Rolling Thunder.
As a supporter of Run for the Wall, Gary was involved in the early days as it got started.

Gary has been riding a motorcycle for numerous years, but due to medical necessities, has needed to modify his motorcycle to a trike.  The VA covered a small portion of the expense, but there is still a balance owing.

A true American Hero, Gary represents The Medal of Honor with respect and distinction.

QUOTE from Leroy Petry:  "watching Gary ride, with one arm, inspired and encouraged me to ride".

Please help us support this true American Hero by donating to his trike modification.
