My name is Robert Mazza. But this gofundme account is not for me…. In fact, this request for funding shouldn’t even exist. But it does. And it all has to do with my sister. My beautiful sister Tina, who was suddenly and cruelly taken from us July 3rd. This fund is not for Tina, but instead, for her 3 kids who are now alone, who have lost their mother, to support them and their dreams as much as I possibly can.
Let me tell you about Tina. Tina was only 45 when a sudden stroke ended her life this year on July 3rd ..it has been brutal to deal with this blow, and I can’t yet wrap my brain around that she is gone. Our hearts are broken. . One minute, Tina is here, alive, vivacious, funny…. She is alive and teasing me as sisters do to brothers…. She is alive and posting pictures of herself and her kids on social media… She is alive and living her life, as mothers do, for her kids…. She is alive and she is young and she is beautiful. And then next minute, she is gone. I know I will remember her always as she was, right up until the end. My sister, who in one minute could annoy me to no end, but in the next minute, could wrap her arms around me and take away my pain…. My sister whose laughter was contagious, and that laughter I will hear in my head forever when I picture her smile.
Let me tell you about Tina’s kids. The youngest is Frankie, who is 9. He loves surfing, eating pizza, and dreams of going to college when he is older…. The middle child is Joeligh, at 14….She loves what I would call typical girl stuff, hanging with her friends, posting selfies on instragram, and reading books, lots of books… The oldest is Anthony, who is 17. He is on the verge of being a man, and dreams of a career where he can design video games… These kids are all smart, funny and talented…. It is my dream to help them reach their dreams. This is why I created this funding request.
This funding request is to help make the dreams of my sisters kids a reality. I hope you will consider this fund to help them go to school, get an education, and have a future… I know my sister wanted that for them more than anything. A trust fund will be set up with the donation received for them...
