I challenge you to take a moment to look at those you love and consider for just a moment how it might feel to have a doctor tell you your only biological child has cancer. This blow has the ability to knock you off your feet and rock you to the very core of your soul.

Now let me tell you a little bit about my son Corby. He is and has always been the light of my life, for 15 years we were all on our own just the two of us. I couldn't have asked for a better kid. Now he is 28 and an excellent father to a beautiful little girl Chloe.

In January he was diagnosed with stage 4 Non-Hodgkin’s T/cell histiocyte rich Large B cell lymphoma. Cancer is a horrible creature that invades not only your body, and robs your of your health but it also steals you and your loved ones of a sense of security about your future.

Cancer is also extremely expensive. Corby's chemo treatments can average 10-15K every three weeks. Due to Corby's current health he is unable to work, and the financial stress is overwhelming. He has all the normal bills of day to day living, and then all the extra bills from the illness.  He has insurance for a lot of the medical but the extra meds and such are more than anyone who hasn’t gone through this could fully understand. Fortunately he lives only a few blocks from his doctor’s office and the hospital, but he will not be able to afford to continue to do so if he doesn’t get some help.  As a family we are doing our best, but that just isn't enough to keep him financially afloat, and we need your help.
