Sustainable Nepal Documentary Trip

Hello!

My name is Thomas Berry and I'm a journalism student studying multi media storytelling at Arizona State University. 

Through my minor in Sustainability at ASU, I'll be traveling abroad to Nepal this summer for several weeks to study how a developing nation deals with its growing population. 

I hope to use my passion and skills in videography and photography to document the trip and produce a short form documentary about the experience as well as on the sustainability problem in Nepal and what solutions the country is utilizing. 

So far, I've been awarded a scholarship to pay for over half of the program costs. I'm currently more than one thousand dollars short, however, I'm asking my friends, family, and anyone who is interested, to help fund 1000 dollars to go torwards the flight costs and traveling afterward within Southeast Asia. 

Any extra funds would be appreciated and are definitely needed. 

I hope that this trip can help launch my dream of becoming a travel filmmaker and photographer as well as report on sustainable issues around the world.
