Theresa's surgery in Germany

Donation protected
I'd like to raise some money for my step-daughter Theresa to get the specialised medical treatment she requires in Germany after becoming significantly unwell from a misguided operation that was done on the NHS last year.
She had an operation called 'Pelvic Vein Embolisation' to treat her pelvic congestion syndrome following two pregnancies. However she has since realised that the treatment that was recommended by a particular surgeon was unnecessary and the potential risks and irreversible effects of the procedure were not made fully clear. It effectively destroyed large pelvic veins in the hope that it would relieve the pressure she was experiencing in the veins in her legs. However the operation has had the opposite effect and has increased all of her previous symptoms. Her health has deteriorated to the point that she is virtually debilitated and cannot look after her children anymore. She's gone from energetic and ambitious in life, to bedridden and unable to leave the house most days. She now needs around the clock care. All she wants in life is to be able to care for her two young children again.
Theresa is obviously in a considerable amount of pain and she has also developed depression, fibromyalgia symptoms, blood pressure problems, mobility and digestive difficulties with severe nausea.  She cannot sit, stand or walk for more than 5 minutes before intense pressure pains prevent her from continuing. All these symptoms have been brought on by the medical procedure she went through.
Apart from strong pain killers and anti-sickness drugs,  doctors in the UK have no further way of treating Theresa and believe it is all down to managing of the symptoms which have developed.  The drugs have proved ineffective and she currently has no quality of life.
The NHS and even doctors at top London clinics do not have the knowledge to treat her now so her family has had to seek the expertise of a German Vascular Surgeon, Professor Wilhelm Sandmann. He has proposed a potential treatment plan to improve venous flow in the pelvis by taking vein grafts from her legs and inserting them into the regions where the pelvic veins were embolised.
Having been let down by the NHS, we feel that this is her only hope now of regaining some sort of normal quality of life.
We are asking to raise money to the amount of £35,000 to cover initial diagnostic tests, hospital stay and treatment plus transport and accommodation for 3 people and subsequent trips for follow up treatment and aftercare.
We thank you for taking the time to read this and we are extremely grateful for any contributions raised.
