Chicken, Veggies & more good stuff!

When someone visits The Pantry, they are greeted with a smiling face, a warm welcome and a menu where guest get to select great options like Cinnamon and Brown Sugar Oatmeal packets, Grits, Cream of Wheat or a Biscuit Mix that only takes milk or water and a few minutes to yummy, homemade goodness.

Guest also get to select dinner options like Family Size Pot Pie, Chicken and Vegetables with Noodles, White Chicken Chili, Red Beans and Rice and more. Guest are then given the items needed to make their selected meals, along with the recipes and any fresh produce that may be available. 

Delicious, nutritious and filling meals that in most cases, offer enough food for leftovers, which is helpful for lunches the next day. 

Why do we do things this way? Because we believe that making homemade meals doesn't have to be overwhelming or time consuming. We believe these homemade meals are better, cheaper, more filling, more nutritious and just as easy to make, as a Hamburger or Chicken Helper Meal. 

There are no requirements or forms to fill out, people just come get the food they need. Because we know what it's like to wonder where your next meal is coming from or how you will feed your kids. 

The Pantry is a community supported food pantry and we need your help in feeding our community. Did you know there are 7,000 people in the Jefferson City area alone who don't have enough food to eat?

That's not ok. Together, we can help feed people who don't have enough to eat. 

This campaign is to help buy the chicken, vegetables and other items needed to complete The Pantry meals offered.  So whether it's $1, $5, $20, $50 or more, it all helps.
