Hi, my name is Nick Albanese. I'm an Actor/Writer and I have been performing my One Man Play THE LAST SICILIAN for a litte over a year now. It has been well received in my home-state of Rhode Island with every performance selling out. Now I have the opportunity to bring my show to Off-Broadway to the 13th Street Repertory Theatre Company in New York City this January 2018 for a 2 week run. That would be a total of 10 performances. I am producing it myself, so I would need at least $10,000 to do this 2 weeks run. That includes Theatre Rental, Promotion, Hiring a Publicist, Developing a Website for the Show and Travel, Lodging & Food. The Last Sicilian has already won an Award in RI for Best new Work/Original Script. It's a Show that has touch people's hearts.

You'll learn a little history, maybe get a bit emotional and definitely have tons of laughs as Nick tells his funny and heartwarming tales of growing up Sicilain in America.
Nick narrates and performs true stories about his grandparents, his parents and his own childhood reminiscing about growing up in a close-knit family when family dinners were a must and before playing outside until it got dark became a thing of the past. You don't have to be Sicilian to appreciate this story of the immigrant journey that spans a century, from his grandparents arrival in the New World - right off the boat - all the way to modern pop culture.
Come witness Nick's special brand of drama and comedy for an evening of fond, funny and rewarding memories.
Also, every person that donates will be put into a Drawing and within a few months I will draw a name and that person will Win a Pair of Tickets to one of my New York Performances....and if you decide to come to the Show in NYC, I will also take you both out for dinner after the Show!!
