Technology for my campus!

We are raising money to purchase three 16GB iPad air, 3 cases, and Applecare+ (for 36 months) for primary use in the art room at my dual-language campus. The iPads will also be accessible campus-wide for other classroom teacher's to utilize in their instruction. Many campuses across the nation are adding iPads or other tablets to their instruction. We would like to enhance the educational experiences of our entire campus and engage them with access to higher level technology.
We will use the iPad to: participate in different Virtual Fields Trips, explore Google Art Project to visit famous institutions worldwide, explore tablet technology in-depth in small groups, and collaborate using iMotion, MoveNote, and Sketchbook apps to name a few.
Students will be able to showcase their findings from Field Trips through their writing and drawing. Students will use iMotion to create videos aligned with the district curriculum. We will encourage classrooms to submit their findings from field trips and videos to the morning campus broadcast team.
A little bit more about my students:
I work at a dual-language campus and 45% of my students are economically disadvantaged. My students are: 43% Hispanic, 43% White, 4% African American, 4% Asian, 1% Native American, and 5% two or more races. On my campus, 36% are at-risk and 24% are English language learners (ELL's).

***If the goal is reached: Any extra amount raised over $1,953 will go towards the purchase of a 4th tablet. In a dream world, we would have multiple tablets for multiple classrooms to use simultaneously across our campus. Thank you for your support!
