Mom & Daughter Team to Beat Cancer
Throughout our lives cancer has slowly, sneakily crept its way into our life somehow or someway.
A co-worker. A professor. A neighbor. A friend's mom. A friend of a friend. A family member...
On July 18, 2015, my mom and I want to ride 50 miles for all those somehow touched by cancer.
The event is Cleveland Clinic's VeloSano .
We are all connected to cancer, because cancer doesn’t discriminate. It finds a way to us somehow, someway…
My mom and I want to ride for VeloSano to help end cancer. We want to help the research to provide better prevention and treatment tools for all those that cancer has somehow found.
In order to ride we need to raise $1,000 each.
100% of the money raised (and hopefully we can raise even more than required) will support lifesaving cancer research at Cleveland Clinic.
In a special way we will ride for Cassandra's father-in-law, Bill Holloway, whom she never got the chance to meet because of cancer.
We want to do this together because it's near and dear to our hearts and so many of our loved one's hearts.
We would love to ride in honor of your loved one or show support to those putting up a fight to cancer, so please share his or her name and we will write it on our helmets for our ride.
