My name is Tashi Dolma Lama and I opened a GoFundMe me account a while ago to help raise fund just from my friends and families who live far away to help build a Tibetan community in Nepal where most of my childhood was spent but the earth quake that shook the whole nation left the building in a pretty bad shape. One of my cousin gave me the idea of opening a GoFundMe account and I was skeptical but I decided to open one so that my friends who live far away can deposit the money directly into the account. The Tibetan community in Nepal is called Gangchen Tibetan Settlement or Society where 37 families were displaced because the earthquake had a huge impact on the building they were living in and was declared unsafe by the local government for occupancy. They are currently taking shelters outside in an open front near by and need huge amount of money to renovate the building. I was able to raise $1270 with your generous contributions. I already wired the money and the money is being utilize to make temporary shelters as they are still experiencing after shocks on a daily basis. I have attached a picture of the receipt of the total amount I have raised and I can't thank you enough for your donations and support.
