Earthquake Relief Fund for Nepal

As many of you may know by now, a devastating earthquake registered 7.8 magnitude has hit our home country of Nepal. This earthquake has left many people homeless with no food or water. Many are in need of immediate medical attention and shelter. It has taken thousands of lives, destroyed homes, historic temples and landmarks and have put the people of Nepal in a vulnerable state.
My siblings and I are starting this page to help our birthplace, our home country of Nepal where we grew up. We take great pride being Nepali and have always promoted our rich heritage and spread our culture. Most of our family and friends live in Nepal, specifically in the capital city, Kathmandu where much of the damage occurred and chaos is taking place. Being far away from our home country during a time of need is painful for us. We as Nepali-Americans feel the need to help our homeland in this tragic time and spread awareness.
This gofundme page will help provide relief to all those affected by this earthquake. Please donate any amount that you can, every donation counts. Please help us spread the word about this page and we thank you in advance for all of your support.
All proceeds will go to the Nepal Red Cross Society. This organization is providing first aid, search and rescue, blood medical facilities and support to first responders.
